Dear Family and Friends, In August 2003, I took the three-day Landmark Forum Education course. This class helped me tremendously to recognize some of my personal issues and motivated me to take the four-day Advanced Forum course in January 2004. The last course in this series is Self Expression and Leadership Program (SELP). During this three-month class, each participant has to complete a project that would have a positive impact on the local community. I have always thought that having a home or shelter where we feel safe and comfortable is a privilege, and I am very thankful for this gift. However, some people are not fortunate enough to have a home. In my SELP course, I have envisioned the possibility and have made the declaration to raise $40,000 for Sacramento Habitat for Humanity. This amount is the seed money that guarantees a new home will be built in the Sacramento area for a qualified family. After we raise this amount, we will recruit volunteers to provide the necessary labor and solicit donations to buy building materials. If, at that time, we do not have enough volunteer labor or materials, we could use the Sacramento Habitat for Humanity resources and volunteers to help with our project. I have named this project "DREAM HOME." You can make your tax-deductible checks payable to Sacramento Habitat for Humanity. Please write "Dream Home" in the memo section of your check. The Sacramento Habitat for Humanity office will keep a separate account for this project and inform us of our progress toward our goal of $40,000. My heartfelt thanks goes to DigiStack Inc for donating the web site and hosting the web for this project. This site will be updated regularly with the progress of the project and a list of donors. Love and Blessings, P.S. Please make your tax-deductible checks payable to Sacramento Habitat for Humanity and in memo section of the check write "DREAM HOME".
